Original S.U.C. and Dead End Alliance member Kay K discusses DJ Screw, the hip hop landmark Screwed Up Records & Tapes and the impact of Screw culture on the final part of the Dead End Alliance documentary. The 4-part documentary series gives an insider’s view into the people, culture and neighborhood that amassed a huge following, created a legendary sound and continues to influence hip hop today.

John Dough (@fugginamazin) – “Counterfeit”


Trevon “John Dough” Wilson is new school lyricist from Louisiana. He always had a passion for music, whether it was freestyling, doing raps for school projects, or entertaining his peers with food raps. After seeing other independent rappers make it, he started seriously recording in 2010. Since then he’s released many individual songs, and is currently doing a promo run from his “Study Group” mixtape.
